Since its establishment in 1990 (the 23rd JSSEPC), the Liaison Department (L.D.) has endeavored to promote academic and cultural exchange among students from different nations. The Liaison Department has exposed local students to different cultures, and has established good relations with overseas delegates, consistently inviting them to the JSSE. Moreover, we keep in touch with the alumni of JSSE, so as to seek advice from the experienced committees and strive for the best.
自一九九零年（第二十三屆的聯校科學展覽籌備委員會）起，連絡部每年都會邀請 外隊參與聯校科學展覽。藉著外隊的參與，本地學生與外地學生可在學術上和文化上有 所交流。 連絡部為本地學生提供了接觸外地文化的機會，同時透過不同的活動，向外 國隊伍介紹香港及聯校科學展覽。除此之外，本部門在歷屆籌委及本屆籌委之間作為橋樑，虛心從歷屆籌委屈取得建議，希望聯校科學展覽能更上一層樓。
